This form is for folks who identify as Black, Indigenous or Person of Colour and Allies that have been involved with our programming in the past (mentors and engaged friends).
Let’s come together and have a fun riding day in the park, show each other favourite trails and moves.
We are doing this ride for strong intermediate level and up, as there is no coaching (per se) during this meetup. If you can ride Whistler Blue trails confidently at good pace – come join. We can see if a part of the group who are stronger wants to check Black and Double Black trails second half of the day.
There is a limited number of day passes we can provide and even more limited number of rental bikes. This is why we are trying to see interest to figure out how could the group look like. We will prioritize BIPOC for this. If you have a bike and pass – it makes it easier! Come join.
Day pass will be $21. Bike rentals are very limited and will be $63.
Application closed Thursday afternoon and we will get back to everyone Thursday night or Fri morning.
If you are not sure you will be able to come join us on Sunday, please do not fill in application. It is hard to organize a group when we see interest only to have people cancel for actual confirmation.
We ask you not to treat our intentional work as a cheap/discounted service. Please register if you believe in our mission and looking to be part of community, create connections with Black, Indigenous and Racialized folks.
At Colour the Trails, we are dedicated to fostering an environment that champions inclusivity, respect, and equality. We want to make it clear that we will not tolerate any form of anti-Blackness, anti-Indigenous attitudes, homophobia, or transphobia within our organization or community. We firmly stand against discrimination and prejudice, and we are committed to creating a safe and affirming space for individuals of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Together, we strive to promote unity, understanding, and support for all trail enthusiasts, regardless of their background or identity.
We are committed to creating a welcoming space for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals. Participants and organizers will introduce themselves using our pronouns, if comfortable, at the start of each event to ensure participants are all feeling welcome and seen. Please ensure that you use other participants’ pronouns. We will have a 2 warning policy for any disrespect of participants’ gender identities or sexualities.
Thank you in advance for making CTT a welcoming community!
