This intro to downhill skiing lesson at Grouse Mountain will help you learn the basics from how to put on your skis to learning to stop on the bunny hill and more.
Suitable for beginners who have no experience to minimal downhill skiing experience, beginner-friendly. Ages 18+
Please note that this event is on a Friday. Lesson will begin at 12pm, but we’ll need to meet at 11am sharp to check in and then get rental gear. More details will be sent a few days before the event. Please check your spam folder if you haven’t received an email by Feb 24.

IMPORTANT:
With the increased spread of Omicron and in accordance with Provincial Health orders, all participants must be double vaccinated and show proof of vaccination in order to participate in our events so we can do our part to keep everyone as safe as possible and allow us to continue to hold events.
Participants must also wear mask when indoors, at all times and outdoors when we cannot stay 6 ft or more apart.
If you are feeling any flu-like symptoms before the event, please stay home.

Lesson includes:
- Skis, poles, boots and helmet rental
- Ski instructor (1:6)
- Grouse Mtn Parking Pass, if you drive
Lesson Duration: ~2 hours
What you’ll need to bring/wear:
- Face mask for when you’re indoors and on the skyride
- Proof of vaccination and ID (double vaccination required)
- Warm clothes including moisture wicking base layers, mid layers to trap body heat, and water-resistant outerwear, warm calf-high socks, and gloves or mittens
- Goggles or sunglasses
- Sunscreen is recommended, even on cloudy days
