Event Details

The event is for BIPOC living in Alberta area.

While we love our allies, this event is created to give a chance to BIPOC members to try a new sport. We do not need volunteers this time around. But please keep following us for future updates.

Thanks to Alberta 66 MTB we have a group of 4 certified instructors happy to introduce our group members to Mountain Biking.

Bikes and protective gear will be provided. We encourage you to bring your own helmet if you have one.

This is an intro clinic and we ask those who have MTB experience to let new people try this activity.

General biking experience would be preferred to be able to enjoy this event. But don’t get intimidated by the youtube videos of pro-bikers – we will take it easy. The sport is fun to try. The instructors and group will support you!

You will need to bring comfortable flat shoes – runners and skate shoes are great. Some water and a snack. Change of cloth as you will get sweaty and may get covered in some mud.

Note: this event will be in Bragg Creek area and will take place rain or shine. If you need transportation please email [email protected]

This event will take place the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3).
