Welcome to our Come & Try Rowing experience. This program provides an opportunity to learn the basics of rowing, including exposure to on-land training and on-water rowing.

Rowing is an excellent full-body sport that can be used as a relaxing recreational activity, or it can become a competitive pursuit. This introduction will provide the foundation for understanding and enjoying rowing, and will lead to future opportunities for those who want to continue, such as the Mini Learn to Row program.

More details will be sent out with what you need to prepare a few days prior to this lesson. Any necessary gear will be provided.

You can preview a video here.

A waiver will be required for this event. Please ensure it is signed a week prior to the event.

Note: Come & Try Rowing will be a prerequisite to the Mini Learn to Row program.

This event is organized in collaboration with Rowing BC.

This event is taking place on the unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
