We are happy to continue our partnership with Vail Resorts through Epic Promise program to run summer programming at Whistler Blackcomb.
We are planning to host two lesson days on Sept 29 and Oct 6. The tricky thing is to form groups according to skill level. Fill in the form and we will reach out once we have a better picture.
This form is for folks who identify as Black, Indigenous or Person of Colour. We love our allies, but these events will have very limited spots.
We will host some sessions throughout the season for those who would like to try the park or progress with their skills at the bike park. The events will include an extended 5-hour lesson, bike and protective gear rental, full-day park ticket. The cost is $126. MSRP is over $500.
These lessons are for adults 18+ yo only.
This form is to see interest, and level of riding breakdown, help with planning and let you know when registration is open. All the information is just for Colour the Trails team use and not shared with any 3rd party. We will send details when we are ready to open for registration to selected participants.
Mountain biking is a fun exciting sport, but it is definitely a high risk activity, that requires to be patient, concentrated and keeping positive attitude. We encourage you to try it but assuming the risks.
We ask you not to treat our intentional work as a cheap/discounted service. Please register if you believe in our mission and looking to be part of community, create connections with Black, Indigenous and Racialized folks.
At Colour the Trails, we are dedicated to fostering an environment that champions inclusivity, respect, and equality. We want to make it clear that we will not tolerate any form of anti-Blackness, anti-Indigenous attitudes, homophobia, or transphobia within our organization or community. We firmly stand against discrimination and prejudice, and we are committed to creating a safe and affirming space for individuals of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities. Together, we strive to promote unity, understanding, and support for all trail enthusiasts, regardless of their background or identity.
We are committed to creating a welcoming space for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals. Participants and organizers will introduce themselves using our pronouns, if comfortable, at the start of each event to ensure participants are all feeling welcome and seen. Please ensure that you use other participants’ pronouns. We will have a 2 warning policy for any disrespect of participants’ gender identities or sexualities.
Thank you in advance for making CTT a welcoming community!
