If you are interested in climbing but don’t know where to start come join us!

Give climbing a try! If you’re interested in climbing but don’t know where to start, the Calgary Climbing Center will show us the ropes (so to speak). This two-hour class is highly recommended and will teach us the basic skills required to top-rope climb and belay. Learn how to put on your harness, tie the proper knots and manage the rope belay systems.

After this course, those interested in continuing their climbing journey will be eligible to sign up for a bi-weekly technique course (more details to come). Our goal is to give opportunities to those interested in climbing to continue on their journey and transition to outdoor climbing in the summer.
