Event Details
We would like to acknowledge that this program will take place on land that is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples, and that is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
If you’re interested in connecting to birds and nature, learning about bird identification, and meeting up with the Colour the Trails community, then come join us at Ashbridges Bay Park for this guided birdwatching hike!
We’re excited to once again have Joanne Brathwaite of the Toronto Ornithological Club leading our birdwatching event. She’s an incredible birding extraordinaire in the Toronto birding community who loves photographing birds and talking about birds! She will be leading us on a hike in Ashbridges Bay Park, helping us to learn how to listen for, look for, and identify lots of different bird species. We welcome folks of all experience levels to join us and bird together in community 🙂 Binoculars and bird ID Field Guides will be provided.
This program is in partnership with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) & the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.
