Event Details
We are excited to invite you to our first-ever equestrian mentorship at Caledon Equestrian School. In this 4-week mentorship program, we will learn horsemanship skills such as leading, grooming, tacking, stable management, as well as riding horses.
Weekly lessons are geared to the safe progressive development of the rider. Coaches use the national Rider Level Program which establishes safe, correct and consistent skills at all levels.
We are extremely excited to have Shylah Hoppie as the instructor for the group. Note from Shylah:

“Hi, I’m Shylah Hoppie, an apprentice coach at Caledon Equestrian School (CES). I’ve been coaching for three years and have had the pleasure of running the CES Summer Camp program for the past two. I love sharing the joy that riding horses brings and teaching folks how to care for and ride them. I’ve coached people of all ages and backgrounds, from second graders to seniors. Sharing knowledge is my passion, and I love teaching horsemanship and respect for these amazing animals. I’m thrilled to be part of the Color the Trails program, and I can’t wait to bring more people and greater diversity to the world of horses!”
