Event Details

Supported by Arc’teryx, guided by Aaron and Alex Savatti of Trip Shed.

Snowshoeing is a low cost, high reward, activity that provides epic scenery and a solid workout.

Meet at Albion Hills Conservation Park at 10:00am. The specific trail will be determined closer to the date based on conditions, with a specific email sent out to the group 1 week before as to which parking lot to meet at. We plan to Snowshoe for 1.5 hours at easy to moderate difficulty (tailored to the group’s ability). We will begin the day with an orientation and end the day with a campfire and snacks.

We’ll stick together as a group, ensuring nobody is left behind and all team members feel included. The goal of the day will be to help people experience snowshoeing and will be targeted to beginners. We’ll go over technique, safety, natural interpretation, and other skills participants will need to be confident in joining future snowshoe trips.
