How does Colour the Trails membership work?
Colour the Trails focuses on partnering with companies and organizations that provide services that you need, and that align with our values.
As a member you will have access to connect with local BIPoC who are interested in the outdoors, and you get to enjoy these great benefits:
- Discounts with local brand partners
- Build authentic relationships
- Learn new skills
- Subsidized outdoor adventures
- Exclusive early event registrations
We also value building authentic relationships with our community partners. We work to create a fun diverse community for you to try something new. We work closely with our partners to hold them accountable and ask our members to do the same with us. If you have any suggestions on companies to partner with, things you would like to access through CTT, or have any questions or comments, please contact:
Do I have to be a member to attend an event?
No. You don’t have to be a member to attend our events, but being a member does come with perks.
Are the memberships only for BIPoC?
Our goal is to create a community that supports and celebrates BIPoC through shared knowledge and leadership so our membership services are designed to provide accessibility to BIPoC who are curious about nature and new activities. We also value our allies and know that together we can create a more inclusive outdoor community.
Our monthly membership for allies is a way to offer ways to support BIPoC initiatives that prioritize equitable practices in the outdoors and workplace, and education on ways you can be a better ally!
Do I have to be an expert to try these activities?
Nope. We are here for the changemakers, the hikers, the bikers, skiers, snowboarders, campers, runners, skateboarders, surfers, climbers, kayakers. The outdoor enthusiasts.
Whether you are an expert or you have never touched a tree before, we got you!
